c8.  APR with Scrappage The new Leon CUPRA R isn`t suited to everyone - only those who crave performance in its purest form (not to mention those who can deal with the attention it attracts). Like its WTCC cousin, the new Leon CUPRA R was born to pound pistons with the best of them. As befits a car with a race-inspired character, we employed the use of 19" alloy wheels to keep this bad boy grounded in the corners, and a specially configured suspension that provides a new level of maneuverability and precision handling. But you`ll find that out for yourself, if you think you`re worthy. Although based on a World Touring Car Champion, the new Leon CUPRA R also holds its own in the style department. Special touches are easy to spot, like the CUPRA and R logos on the front grille, bumper and air filter cover. Even the instrument cluster features an R logo. And because no Leon would be complete without a generous helping of technology, the new CUPRA R comes equipped with a tech pack that includes a parking sensor and rain sensor, among other things.
